About Key Biscayne: beaches, a lighthouse and calm water

Key Biscayne is an island village south-east of downtown, reached by the Rickenbacker Causeway, with two of Miami’s best beach parks.

Crandon Park

Crandon Park’s two-mile beach is protected by a sandbar, with calm water and kiteboarding.

Bill Baggs

At the island’s southern tip, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park surrounds the Cape Florida Lighthouse, Greater Miami’s oldest standing structure.

Key Biscayne is Miami’s beach escape, a world away from downtown.

Staying

The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne offers a calm resort stay on the beach.

Our advice: arrive early at weekends, when the parks fill up.
