About Coral Gables: Mediterranean Revival and the Biltmore

Coral Gables is a separate city, laid out in Mediterranean Revival style, with tree-lined streets, the Biltmore and the Venetian Pool.

The Biltmore

The Biltmore, now celebrating its centennial, is the city’s landmark, with a golf course and Sunday brunch.

The Venetian Pool

Carved from a coral-rock quarry and in use since 1923, the spring-fed Venetian Pool is unique.

Coral Gables feels like a Mediterranean town transplanted to Florida.

Miracle Mile and Giralda

Miracle Mile and Giralda Plaza hold shops, cafés such as Threefold and Café Demetrio, and Books & Books on Aragon Avenue.

Our advice: swim at the Venetian Pool in the morning, then have lunch on Giralda Plaza.
